It’s been over a month since I posted my last blog article. Time sure flies!
My current nails are arrow doodle design, which is inspired by this pin I found on Pinterest.
I don’t own any mustard yellow in my collection yet (why!?), so I optioned for a lemon yellow instead. I guess that’s why, but this color combination really pops! It screams spring and summer, don’t you think?
The colors I used are ‘8 Limo Scene’ (as the base color for the arrow doodle), ‘286 Mind Your Mittens’ (dark grayish navy) by Essie, ‘390 Lemon Heaven’ (lemon yellow) by Sally Hansen Miracle Gel, ‘Did You Ear About van Gogh?’ (cool tone nude), and ‘Suzi’s Hungary Again!’ (super bright pink) by OPI.
(Disclaimer: The links above are mainly to be able to see the colors and how they look like in their packages in case you’d like to purchase. By placing order through these links, I gain no profit. Some colors are unfortunately discontinued. I did my best to find websites where you can buy when it’s still available, however the colors might be sold out by the time you read this.)
I changed my nails on 4th Feb. I’ll probably keep going with this design for another week or two.
I took picture a few days before I changed my nails (the previous plaid pattern ones), so I’ll post it here, too. While I was wearing them for 4 weeks, I filed them shorter once or twice. Also, I reapplied my top coat every other week.
As you can see, the condition looks pretty good. The only thing you notice right away is how much my nails grew since I applied the nail polishes.
This might be the reason why I often get questions like “Are they your natural nails?” or “Are you wearing gel nails?”
